March 2010

Dear Friends and Family,

Our entry back into the US went extremely smooth. We felt your prayers for our travels and adjustment back into American culture. It has been encouraging as old friends and some new have come and surrounded us with love and prayers.

I heard that my mom threw in a one liner in my last newsletter without my knowledge, lol. Yes, we are pregnant again!! I found out shortly after I sent her my newsletter to print and send out to all of you. It was quite a struggle to pack and move our growing family while I was dealing with “morning sickness” (probably the most incorrect name for such a thing) I wish it was ONLY in the morning!! Bleh!! However God was so faithful. The day before our flight and during the flight, I had no nausea at all! Praise the LORD! It soon returned after we were settled at my parents’ house in Colorado.

So NOW WHAT? Where now?! After some time in prayer and observation, it looks like we will be taking a step of faith in the direction of California. My parents have always been wonderful about letting us stay with them during our furloughs; however, at this time we need to be where we can serve and help the Romanian orphaned children best.

All of our contacts and the majority of our faithful supporters reside in California. We also have a very close relationship with a Romanian shipping company in Anaheim that allows us to ship at extremely low costs to our family centers. I am currently gathering information from each of the centers and families we will be supporting. I will begin to inform you about their hearts for ministry and how we can help them better care for the children.

Please remain in prayer for us as Andrei looks for a job to support our family. We are hoping to have enough money saved to rent a small place and purchase a car before our baby arrives in October.

“For I have a plan for you” I am so excited about the future of Sufficient Bread Ministry! It is such a blessing to continue supporting people with amazing hearts toward “the fatherless and the widows in their distress.” Please pray with us as we ask for wisdom and a clear direction on how we can better serve these ministries from the US.

Andrei, Kelle, Aryana, Elena, and “Junior”

Prayer Requests:

  1. Job for Andrei
  2. Car for our family
  3. Elena’s journey to permanent residency in the USA. This could get complicated so we need your prayers.
  4. Pray for Betania: Their only stove is no longer operational. We are looking at helping them purchase a new one. There have been some cold meals and the kids don’t like it very much.
  5. Wisdom and guidance
