Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God. 2 Corinthians 3:4–5

Dear Friends and Family,

I apologize for the extended period of silence on my end. After giving birth to our beautiful baby girl I have been very busy learning all that new mom stuff. Andrei and I want to thank you for your prayers, encouragement and precious gifts.

We are excited to announce our return to the mission field on March 10th! This has been a long visit for us in America so we are very eager to get back home and continue with our work in Petrosani! Okay, well I have a few things to update you on so here it goes…

A Warm Christmas Gift: Thanks to the generous efforts of the ladies from Reverence Bible Church we were able to bless the children of Betania with amazing handmade pajamas this Christmas. Before we returned to America we went to Betania and asked each child what their favorite thing and favorite color was. The kids were very curious why we were asking them these “silly” questions. We then relayed this information to the ladies of RBC and they diligently whipped up fabulous pajamas made specifically for each child. I was so blessed when I saw Spiderman, soccer, hearts, teddy bear inspired jammies. Each one was perfect for each child. It is amazing how God shows people the exact needs and wants of a child they have never met!

The Christmas boxes also included prayer bears from the VBS children of Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Margarita. These bears were such a sweet and genuine expression of Christ’s love. Each stuffed bear had a hand written prayer card stuffed in a front pocket sewn onto the bear.

Andrei made a special two week trip to Romania in December to hand deliver these gifts to the kids. Once again the children were blessed by the generous gifts and talents of the body of Christ. A huge thank you to everyone involved!

Family Center NEWS! We are still waiting for the purchase of the Family Center’s house to be completed. Please stay in prayer over this entire process. But enough about the business end of things…I am so happy to announce the very real possibility of our first Family Center addition. A few days ago I was talking to one of my good missionary friends and telling her that my biggest prayer was to have babies come to our center. Immediately she said, “WOW, funny you say that, there is a woman six months pregnant who is planning on abandoning her baby at the hospital.” I sat at my computer shocked. Is this our first baby???

The mother of this precious one is a known local drunk and prostitute. This is her 5th pregnancy and 5th abandonment. I ask for prayer over this infant’s health. The mother is drinking while pregnant and has not seen a doctor. We know that God’s almighty hand is over that life growing inside her belly. I have sent money to my friend to purchase prenatal vitamins for the mother to take. I pray that she truly does take them and that she would be convicted about her irresponsible drinking and lifestyle. Also please pray for her other four children. Three are in placement with families and the oldest is in a center for street children in Deva. We are not sure if this baby is a boy or a girl. We will keep you updated on our needs for the baby and the Family Center. We are hoping to eventually find sponsors for all of our kids at the center to cover all medical, educational and physical needs. . . . . Oh my! We also need a name!!! It was hard enough to pick one for my own precious little one. I guess I will have to get the baby name book out again!

God bless you all!

Love,
Kelle, Andrei, and Aryana Andries
